It was my dream to choose a diverse career for myself that’s why I choose to
join the merchant navy. The diversity in this career attracted me a lot and I
made up my mind to become a navy sailor.
In this career there are many companies operating small ships to large tankers
and ferries. The charm of sea always attracted me since my childhood and this
emotional attraction became a dream and this dream was turned in to reality by
the Sailors Maritime Academy.
Because of the international competition in the area of economics and open trade between different countries nations depend on shipping industry to transport cargo and services across borders. Almost 97% global trade is carried by the ships. My passion to become a navy merchant took me to Sailors Maritime Academy. This academy was established by Mr.K.Akki Raju in year 2004 in the outskirts of the port city of Visakhapatnam over an area of 10 acres. The serene environment of academy is perfect to cater the needs of skilled manpower for themaritime industry. I had few other colleagues who received training from SMA I contacted them as well to collect sailors maritime academy reviews.
